Day One Results

HOWEY-IN-THE-Hills, Fla. – The Ave Maria women's golf team carded an opening round 359 to finish day one in ninth at the Golfweek NAIA Spring Women's Invite. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is being play at the 5,882 yard, par 72 Las Colinas Course at Mission Inn Resort & Club.
 
Bianca Vicioso led the Lady Gyrenes in round one with a score of 83. Sarah Notaro finished at 87 followed by a 93 by Jessica Licari. Valerie Bertuccelli fired a 96 and Taylor Robinson finished at 102.
 
Keiser is the low team after round one with a score of 301. They have a four-stroke edge on SCAD-Savannah who is in second at 305. Keiser's Caroline Retabi is the round one individual leader after an opening round 72.
 
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
